Golden Valley Self-Storage LLC is on schedule to begin construction in April of 2019. This project is fully funded and the managers are NOT soliciting any funds for this development.

The site is in process of being approved for 11 one-story buildings and 1 two-story climate controlled building. The self-storage facility will include a manager's unit and residence. The project will be built in stages, eventually comprising 940 units.

The property is located between Manthey Road (which runs parallel to Interstate 5) on the eastside and Golden Valley Parkway on the westside in Lathrop, San Joaquin County, California. The property is located in the underserved Central Lathrop Specific Plan. In addition to Central Lathrop there are five other Master Planned Communities currently under construction or being processed in the City of Lathrop Planning Department as part of the West Lathrop Specific Plan, including River Island, and four other projects in Mossdale. Once completed there will be in excess of 20,000 residential units as well as commercial and industrial properties.
