Wills
A Will can establish where your property goes and who executes your plan. A Will can create trusts, establish guardianships for minor children, and undisputable settle your estate---through the court of law.
The only thing a Will cannot do is avoid probate for all estates, except very small estates. (Estates under $150,000 with real estate valued at less than $50,000 can avoid probate.)
Finding real property in California with a gross value under $50,000 can be done but it is very rare.
Probate is an expensive, highly public, and time-consuming process. A trust avoids all this for your heirs.
In some estates where litigation is highly likely a Will and probate is the best solution. Please call me to discuss if a Will or Trust is right for you.
